Saturday 12/29/18
This morning, I woke up slightly tired because of the trip yesterday. The MacBook Pro that my dad had ordered had come but my mom wasn't home to sign it. I was sleeping at the beginning of the day and I even skipped breakfast. At around 9:00, my dad said that there was a little sticker telling us that we could go pick up the MacBook at a FedEx nearby. We went there and we picked up the package. I was giddy the entire ride home because I was excited to unbox the MacBook. I made sure that I would remember this. It may not seem like a big deal, but weirdly enough, for me, getting a MacBook (even if I have to share), is very cool. I asked my sister to film my dad and me opening the package, and she did. First, I opened the big box it was in. Then, I took out some bubble wrap and the majestic MacBook box was there, in front of my eyes! My dad helped me open it, and I took the MacBook Pro out of the packaging. It was so nice and aesthetically pleasing just to look at. I took off the plastic on it, and I looked around in the packaging. It was all so cool. I tested it out, and the touch bar was so cool. The keyboard was even much quieter than the other MacBooks at home. It was lunchtime, and I ate some yummy food made by my grandma. After lunch, we decided to go to that super fun park that my sister loved to talk about. We went with the whole family, excluding my grandpa because he went somewhere else already. When we got to the park, it was really fun, and I was surprised because I wasn't expecting that. We played for around an hour, and then we went home. My mom was talking about ice cream, and I said there was ice cream in the freezer, so she got all pumped up and wanted to go home. My brother got home first and he ate the first popsicle. Then I got home and waited for my sister to get home. When my sister got home, my mom was right behind her and we all got popsicles and we were happy. I used the new MacBook for a while and played typing games because I was so interested in the keyboard. It feels so satisfying just typing on it right now, it also sounds very cool compared to other loud keyboards. My dad suggested we go shopping, and we did. We went to Marshalls first to get my mom a new suitcase. We got one, and we also got popsockets for the new phones and some clothing. We then went into Albertsons for some medicine and food. It was dinner time when I got home. At 7 I went to piano class and got home at 9:30. My dad was giving my brothers haircuts, so he also got one. I helped him. Then I started writing my blog posts. I've been writing my blog posts for about an hour now. I like summarizing what happened since it was all so fun. Now I'm going to go to sleep because it's 11:08 P.M. and that is very late.
Wednesday 12/26/18 ~ Friday 12/28/18 - The Trip to Las Vegas
Wednesday (12/26). It was very crazy in the house because we were all getting ready to leave and finalizing our luggage. At around 9:00 A.M., we left the house for a long drive. It was supposed to be 5 hours, it ended up taking us 8 hours. Our cousins from Michigan had been on vacation since the beginning of winter break, they arrived at Las Vegas at around 12:00 P.M., so they were very bored waiting for us, at least that's what they said. We drove a very long time and for lunch we had Chipotle. At 5:00 P.M. we finally arrived at a hotel called Excalibur. It was a castle-shaped hotel, and it was probably based on King Arthur's sword Excalibur, and King Arthur was from Camelot and he lived in a fine castle. My uncle, who was my dad's brother, came to pick us up. He helped us get our luggage to his room. My dad had to find a parking space, so he came after us. We knocked on the door to our cousin's room, and they were so happy to see us, and we were also very happy. We talked about things, and also played on electronics. My dad found a parking space and he came up to the room. We decided to eat at a Chinese restaurant for dinner. I have two cousins, one is named JieMing and the other is named Yunjia. I called JieMing just Ming and Yunjia, well Yunjia. We ate there, and Yunjia didn't like the food, and the customer service was really bad. The food was pretty good though. I went to sleep at 11:00 and the next morning I woke up at around 7 A.M. It was Thursday (12/27). First, we went to a dim sum restaurant where they served your food really quickly, and the food was decent. After that, we explored the Las Vegas strip. We first went to Bellagio, and we saw the flower garden with cute polar bears that had Coca-Cola scarves. The polar bears were made out of flowers which were really cool. We took some pictures and explored more. It was a lot of walking, my mi-band even said that I had gotten around 20,000 steps that day. It was tiring. In Michigan, there are no YogurtLands, but my cousins had come to California in the summer and we told them about YogurtLand after we had eaten at a place with frozen yogurt. Ming accidentally called it YogurtLunch so we made a joke about eating "YogurtLunch" for land, but it's supposed to be eating YogurtLand for lunch. We actually did find a frozen yogurt store, and I was being greedy and got 20 ounces of toppings and yogurt. It was pretty expensive, but it was lunch. I played the sentence game with my brother, Benlin, and Ming. It's where someone starts a random sentence, and the last word of the sentence is used to make another sentence. It goes on and on until someone cannot think of a sentence. It was really fun and it lasted for around 30 minutes while we were walking. We also played the word game where you say a word, and the next person uses the last letter of the word before. That last letter had to be used to make a real word starting with that letter. My sister and Yunjia were also having fun talking. I wasn't feeling sick, anymore but my sister still was, sadly. We went back to the hotel so my sister could sleep. I went to my cousins' room so I could play with them. I drew some pictures with Yunjia, while Benlin played with Ming. We got bored so Yunjia brought her iPad to my room and we played together. It was time for dinner before we knew it. We couldn't find any place without super long lines, we had to look for 1 whole hour. We finally came across a place called Lee's Sandwiches, which was pretty good. My stomach hurt so I went to the restroom, and I came out just in time to order food. I just got cup noodles because I wasn't in the mood for sandwiches. My sister ordered chicken nuggets and a watermelon smoothie with boba. I tried it and it was pretty good, except for the fact that it tasted completely artificial. After dinner, we went to a hotel called The Mirage to watch a fake volcano erupt. It started at 9:00 P.M., and I was tired but I was really looking forward to it. My cousins, my siblings, and I were all sad that we almost had to leave Las Vegas. Time had passed by so quickly. Music started playing and it was really cool and intense. I filmed the entire "eruption". First, water sprayed out in large quantities with lights to make it more reddish to look like fire. Real fire was also sprayed and it looked like the fire was going to hit the trees near it. When everyone thought it was finished, more fire came and there was a lot. Then it was over, and I was so sad that my cousins were leaving immediately the next day. I went to sleep at around 11:00 again. The next morning, which was Friday (12/28), I went up to my cousins' room and they didn't even know that they would have to leave at 8:00. My dad did, and he told me so I told them. We talked a little and they went to my room to play. Then my uncle came to take my cousins, and they were heading to Antelope Canyon. I was so sad that they were leaving and we couldn't go with them. After they left, my family and I went to a place near Lee's Sandwiches to eat. I wanted to go to Lee's Sandwiches to get a sandwich, but my dad saw a place near it which was Vietnamese food. My brother still went to Lee's Sandwiches and he got a Breakfast Sandwich. My sister got a watermelon smoothie and chicken nuggets while I just got a large milk tea with boba. It tasted really good, and I went back to the Vietnamese food restaurant to order real food. I got noodles with soup and beef. I also ordered egg rolls which tasted amazing. After the food was finished, we went to a nearby 99 Ranch in Chinatown of Las Vegas. We shopped for snacks because my dad said that we would be going to a place only 20 minutes out of Las Vegas called Red Rock to hike and take pictures. I bought some snacks, we left Las Vegas, and we arrived at Red Rock. The first stop was the big rock with the words of the place we were at up front. It was so cold, I forgot to mention this but, it was super cold all the time during Las Vegas. We went to a trail which was really fun. My dad didn't have the proper shoes, but I climbed up with my brother and grandma. They didn't wait for me, so I didn't know the way up. My dad helped me and then I got up. The hiking trail included parts where you could get up onto the rocks that other people were on too. It was really fun climbing up the rocks, but it was scary at times too because I thought I would fall. After that, there was another little stopping area with a single tree. It was just cold, nothing fun. There was another stop where other people were climbing up rocks, so I did too and I took pictures. After that, there was a trail where you could just explore the beauty of the place. My sister, my dad, and I went on a hiking trail there. Then we headed home at around 2:00 We skipped lunch and just ate snacks but for dinner, we ate at this place called Oggi's with Italian food. Their food was pretty good. We arrived home at around 10:40. I helped get everything out of the car and I got my sister's things too since she was not feeling well. The trip to Las Vegas was really fun.
Monday 12/24/18 and Tuesday 12/24/18 - Christmas was fun! Or not...
On Monday (12/24), I woke up and I was feeling sick. I didn't feel like doing anything. I just went downstairs to eat breakfast and for the rest of the day, I was using electronics. I ate lunch, and then I just read some more Webtoons. I wasn't feeling for good so I went to sleep for about 50 minutes and I had a weird dream where some weird person was running at full speed with a shopping cart at me, I woke up in a start. Then I managed to go back to sleep. After that, I ate dinner with the rest of my family. The next day, which was a Tuesday (12/25), I did basically the same thing. I was feeling much better after being sick but I got my sister a little sick because we share a room. The only thing different was that after lunch, my parents, my little brother, and my sister went out to go on a walk. My older brother had gone out by himself with a bike but he came back only ten minutes after the rest of my family left. I stayed home, saying I was still feeling bad, it was kind of an excuse though. My sister came home screaming about how fun the park that they went to was. It was newly built, and I had never gone there before. It seemed fun hearing about the park. I was excited because the next day I knew I was going to Las Vegas with my dad, my brother, my sister, and my grandparents. I almost forgot to mention that it was Christmas. I got 20 dollars for Christmas (yay! <-- that was sarcasm). My dad had ordered a MacBook Pro for me to share with him, so I was excited for it to be shipped to our house.

Saturday 12/22/18 and Sunday 12/23/18 - Whole Family Trips
On Saturday (12/22), I woke up in the morning and I realized that it was my parents’ birthday. Both my mom and my dad’s. I gave them my handmade presents, but sadly I didn’t have the time to buy them something nice from the store. They both still liked their birthday presents though. We were going to take pictures like we always do each year. We were all getting ready, and we drove there and took pictures. Then we are at a nice Chinese restaurant. It was really good, and I enjoyed it but we were all too full for dessert. There were lamb kabobs, fried rice, and other assortments of meat or vegetables. There was this bok choy soup with tofu that tasted really good. Then, we left and went home. I then went to Costco with my dad, and we bought some snacks and other things. After that, we went home for dinner. After dinner, my dad said that we might be going on a road trip the next day even though we hadn’t started planning so I packed my clothes for 7 days. I slept at around 10:30 that day, and I woke up around 5:30 the next day. Sunday (12/23): At the time before lunch, my dad found 3 old phones and he decided to give them to my sister and me. Even though I can’t really do anything on the phone it still makes me happy. Then, we all ate lunch. My mom suggested driving 1 hour to go to this place called Mission Inn where "over one million lights" light up. So we went there and I read Webtoons on the car. When we got there, there was a weird smell and I was already feeling slightly sick, I was coughing, which made my throat hurt, and I had a stuffy nose, I also had a headache. We walked to Mission Inn, but it was too early for the light show so we went to shopping malls around there and bought some food. We ate some snacks and then at around 5 P.M., the light show started. I took pictures and it was really pretty. The lights were tied around the building and there were other things like trees wrapped with lights. Then, we walked to the car and headed to another city to eat dinner. We chose an Italian restaurant, but they didn’t serve soup so my dad and I went to the store next door to buy some miso soup. Then, we went back into the Italian restaurant just in time to order. I ordered an Alfredo that was pretty good. Then we finished eating and I was coughing a lot, the soup thankfully helped my sore throat. We all got into the car and drove back home. It was a really fun trip but right now I am still coughing with a stuffy nose and headache,

Friday 12/21/18
This morning, I woke up at around 6:10 A.M. to go downstairs and play the piano. The drowsiness was getting to me, but I wanted to cross something off of my to-do-list and just get 20 minutes of piano done. Then, I ate breakfast. It wasn't much, but it was enough because I knew there was going to be snacks at the class party. My dad dropped my sister and me off at school. I walked down to the back gate with my friend. Then, I went into the classroom with my stuffed animal and I set it down. All the tables were moved out of the way. My friends had all set up their mats of blankets on the floor, but I didn't bring one so my friend let me share with her. Only 10 minutes after I got to school, our teacher told us that we were going to go caroling in the multipurpose room. Everyone in my class was really excited. We went into the multipurpose room and sang Christmas carols, it was really fun. Then, for around 2 minutes or so we stayed in the classroom. But then we had to rush out to P.E. I ran the lap and then went onto my number. We stretched for about 10 minutes then we played dodgeball for around 20 minutes. Everyone went to wash their hands in the bathroom. Then we all went back into the classroom. We were called out in number order for snacks. I got strawberries, a bagel with cream cheese, and a cookie. Then I went back into the classroom and sat down on my friend's blanket. We watched an animated movie called A Christmas Carol, it was from 2009. It was kind of creepy there were ghosts and other things chasing the main character. But of course, there was a happy ending and we were all satisfied. During the movie, we also got hot chocolate and we stayed in for recess to finish the movie. Then we had a vocabulary test, luckily it was easy. After that, there were some announcements made and we watched someone's Egypt Project. I didn't watch the first part of the Egypt Project because I was helping cut out numbers for the game White Elephant. Then everyone drew numbers and then we went straight to music class. After music class was over, we went to lunch. Everyone stayed inside to eat because we were going to be playing White Elephant during lunch recess. After eating, we started White Elephant. The person who drew number 1 would go pick one of the wrapped gifts up front and unwrap it or take it out of the bag in front of everyone. They would show everyone what they got and then the person who drew number 2 would get up and either steal what number 1 got or grab another gift. I was number 7, and I stole a gift that had already been stolen once before me. So once I stole it, it was locked. I got a Pusheen stuffed animal and a game called Werewolf. When we finished White Elephant, there were only 10 minutes until school was over. We cleaned up and everyone said goodbye to each other. For me, it was more of a bittersweet moment because I was sad that I was leaving school for 2 weeks but I wasn't at the same time. Most of the time, if I'm not on vacation, being at home is really boring. But when I'm at school it's fun, but of course, I still wanted to go on break. Then, I went home and did what I normally did.

Thursday 12/20/18
Today, I woke up and I went to school. We started the day off with a math test, and we had all the desks and tables and chairs moved to the side. After an hour, we worked on our Egypt Project. Then we went to recess. We did some normal class stuff, but we also talked about what we were going to be doing for our Christmas class party the next day. Then we did more normal class stuff. I stayed in for lunch to work on my math calendar with my friend, and we got it done! Then after lunch, we started some social studies and studied some vocabulary. Then, I went to a meeting for something called junior coaches. We talked about some things, and we talked about how capture the flag was banned. They said that they were bringing capture the flag back which made everyone excited. Finally, it was the end of the school day and I rushed into the classroom to see people taking a class photo, so I rushed up front. Then my friend and I told everyone that they were bringing capture the flag back. Everyone was super happy! Then I went through the back gate with my friends and walked to the car. We talked about what we were going to be doing for White Elephant, which is a sort of gift exchange. Then I went home and did my homework.

Summary of the Week before Winter Break
On Monday, I went to school and we practiced for caroling. We were going to go to a retirement home and sing Christmas carols for them. The rest of the day was pretty normal. On Tuesday, we did a small practice and we walked to the retirement home. We got to skip school yay! We were there for about 50 minutes in the beginning doing practically nothing, and then we went in for about 30 minutes to sing for the elderlies and to interact. Then we had juice and walked back. We got to this huge park and ate cookies and candy canes, then we walked back to school and the rest of school was pretty normal. Today was a Wednesday, and we did the normal things. Then before lunch we got to set up our tables and change into elegant clothing. We were preparing for our elegant luncheon where people bring in food, drinks, decorations, and other stuff. There were 4 teams and each team had a different table. My team’s theme was Japanese. We brought Japanese food and decorations, we also tried to wear clothes close enough to Japanese clothing. There were judges looking to see which tables were most elegant. The winning team gets prizes. Hopefully we can win. Tomorrow, we will be taking our math test, and everything else will be close to normal. On Friday we will be doing a white elephant, and watch a movie with snacks. Then it’s finally winter break, I really feel like time is passing by so fast. Oh well, merry Christmas!

My New Schedule
For Christmas, I want to get a MacBook. To do this, I have to prove myself as "responsible". So I wake up in the morning everyday to play 20 minutes of piano, and then I do what in have to do and go to school. When I come back, I do my homework and then play another 20 minutes of piano. Then I do some studying, or extra curricular homework. I forgot to put it in my schedule, but I have to write blog every single day. I also have to do 40 minutes of math everyday. There isn’t much else to say. Oh! Every day I can designate 30 minutes or less for games or YouTube. Then I have to go back to doing normal things. I obviously can’t follow my schedule with exact times, but I will be close enough.

Thanksgiving Day - 2018
I forgot to write a blog on Thanksgiving, so I'm going to write about it... 6 days late! So, I woke up realizing that it was Thanksgiving, so I wrote a quick happy Thanksgiving in fancy writing and gave it to my parents. I used to computer for a while, and then I went downstairs to help my mom with the turkey. The night before, we had gotten all the seasoning made and other stuff. So, I cut vegetables for the stuffing, and then we got mixed them in with the stuffing. Then, we put all the stuff on the turkey and stuffed it with the stuffing and put vegetables around it. We baked it for 3 hours, and it smelt good, and it tasted good too! The turkey was ready at around 12:00, and one of my mom's friends came over. We ate together starting with some soup. Then we ate the turkey and other things. It was pretty good. It was my first time helping make the turkey so I was pretty surprised at how decent it was. For dessert we ate macarons and pudding. Then, we ate pumpkin pie. My mom and her friend chatted, and I used the computer. There wasn't really much to it after lunch. We ate the feast at lunch only because my mom's friend had to leave before. We also had mashed potatoes. That was pretty much what I did for Thanksgiving day, 2018.

Claire's Birthday Party + Sleepover
On Friday, I left for my friend Claire's house. I brought my stuff, for a one night sleepover. So when I first got to her house, I waited for some of the other guests to arrive. Then at 3:00 P.M., we went to watch a movie, it was called Wreck it Ralph: Ralph Breaks the Internet. It was pretty good. I loved the Disney princesses, especially Ariel. Then we went to Souplantation to eat. It was really good, the pizza and soup was amazing. We also got warm cookies. While we were eating whenever someone left the table, other people would put either salt or pepper in the food. It was really funny. Then we got on the car and went back to Claire's house. Someone left because she wasn't staying for the sleepover. Claire opened her presents. Then, we did some crafts. After that, we played games and talked about stuff until 12:00. Someone went to sleep early at around 11:30, and the other two people with me waited for 12:00 to actually sleep. The next morning, I woke up first at 7:20, and I waited for everyone else to wake up. Then, we ate a very yummy ice cream cake for breakfast. After that, we went upstairs to watch some YouTube. Then, someone left, and then I left. It was really fun.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Today, my class had a movie night outing. At least 20 people from my class came, even the teacher plus his son, and some parents. Most people bought their tickets online and they could reserve seating, but while my dad was about to submit the order he said there was a $1.50 transaction fee which made the price of the kids ticket go up to the same price of the adult ticket. What's the use of paying that when you can just buy it there? So, I carpooled with my friend and we went to the movie theater. I got in line with my other friend's dad and I paid for the ticket. We were in a V.I.P. room with reclining chairs, less people, and cup holders that could swing around to make a table. At around 5:55 P.M. most people had gotten there and we went inside and got our tickets checked. Then most of us went to buy snacks. I got popcorn, water, and sour starbursts. Then we went into the movie theater. No one really followed the actual ticket reservation things and just sat with their friends, to be honest no one really cared though (but we only traded with people within our class). We were testing out the chairs and putting our stuff down, and it just so happened that when I reclined my chair or brought it back up, it made like a squeaky farting noise. That was weird, and my friend kept on pushing the buttons of my reclining chair, and we heard those lovely squeaking noises. After a few very interesting advertisements the movie started. It was 2 hours and 14 minutes long, I'm not gonna spoil it for... for... who? I don't know. I'm still not going to spoil it. So in the end, it kind of ended in a cliffhanger and my friend decided to push the buttons of my chair as the movie was ending so it sounded like someone farted on cue, just for the movie to end. During the movie, some people were talking and some people not in our class yelled "shut up" at them (twice possibly). Then we went outside of the theater and talked in the lobby for a while. Then the same friend that I carpooled with earlier left with me and we went home. It was really fun!

First MathCounts Training
Today was my first MathCounts training. We met at a room on UCI's campus. I got there, and I was one of the last few. There were 16 people, and we waited for a while for everyone to come. At around 3:00 P.M., we started. So we got our try-out tests back and we did some target round questions. There were 4 groups of 2 questions with 6 minutes for each question. We did an extra 2 from a different one too. After we finished the target round we did other things. The instructor (well the person who was running the MathCounts for our school) explained some questions too. Then we did countdown round questions, but instead of 2 people going against each other, it was everyone against each other. So we would read the question of the big screen in front, and if you think you knew the answer you would put you name on a folded piece of paper with your answer. You only got one try. So we did around 3 or 4 and I got maybe 1 (yay!). Turns out I'm a really good guesser. For one of the target round questions I guessed the question right, but I did use some reasoning. I guessed another question right too, and it turns out, I'm pretty good at guessing! Even the geometry ones. After that, we got our papers handed back and then we went home. It was pretty fun though.

2018 AMC 8
Yesterday, which was Tuesday 11/13/18, I went to do a test called AMC 8. It's a math competition. I did many many practices, but they get harder and harder each year because you can look back and practice on old AMC 8s meaning that they have to be harder. I don't think I did really well, and it was my first time doing it, some of my friends did it in 4th or 5th grade which is pretty early. So, when I arrived my dad brought my brother and I to check in, we both got different room numbers, I got room 202. So I went to room 202 and I filled out the information and then I waited for the test to start. We were around 15 minutes in when the lights turned off on us. For 7 minutes we just waited ther, and it turned out that the lights were motion sensors. So we got 7 minutes back in our time. I answered all 25 questions in the 40 minutes. I probably didn't do so good. So, we turned in the answer sheet, then we turned in the scratch paper and we could all leave. I went down the stairs and waited for my brother with my dad. Then we drove him.
Going Ice Skating
On Monday, it was Veterans Day, and there was no school, so for Girl Scouts we decided to go ice skating. It was really fun. Girls from my troop and my sister, and also me, went. We carpooled and we arrived at the skating rink, we quickly found the right ice skates and put them on. Then, I got my helmet on and started around the outside holding on, because I hadn't gotten the hang of it. I've been ice skating before, I did it last year and last last year actually, they were all really fun. After one circle, I realized my hands were going to be cold, so I told my sister to wait for me while I got my gloves, and then I put them one and did maybe one or two more circles around the rink and then I mustered up the courage to go into the middle with some friends. I skated quite nicely, and then I went to get food with my sister and my friends. All I got was an ICEE, and my sister got that too. It's funny how we got cold stuff in an already cold place. So I spent about thirty minutes sitting around talking and eating, and then I got a gum ball and went to go skating again, we tried to do a train but we fell. My sister had some other friends that helped her go to the middle, and all in all it was really fun. After it was over, I got on the car and went back. It was super fun, I love ice skating!

Math, Math, Math, and Math...
So, there's a math competition this Tuesday (11/13/18), the day after Veteran's Day called AMC 8. I haven't really gotten much preparation, and I promised to get at least top 5% which is around 19/25 or above. They get harder and harder each year. because you can practice with the past tests, so they have to get harder and harder. I did 3 AMC 8 practices yesterday, and so far I have done 3 today, and I'm supposed to do 6 tomorrow. I've been getting decent scores, but I did the earliest one (1985) and I got like a 23/25, which is pretty good but it's much easier. Since I've done 2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014 before, the latest I can do is 2013, which I just did and got an 18 out of 25. It's not very good, but it's okay. I can hopefully get top 5 percent, because I promised that for me to go to Florida. They're 40 minute tests, so it's pretty time consuming. I really am hoping to get a good score. This is a very short blog, and I'm basically just talking about my boring day. I'm gonna talk about what I did yesterday. So, I woke up and I realized I hadn't finished my Chinese homework, I worked on it, and I thought 3 hours would be enough, but it wasn't. So my Chinese class started at 10:30 A.M., and I didn't finish it until 10:32 A.M. So, then I went there and finished class at 12:30, and then I went home to eat. Then I did a bunch of AMC 8s, and waited for my dad to come home. The next day I woke up, and did a bunch of AMC 8s, then I went to Piano class and came home and did even more math. Too much math! I spent 4 hours doing math, which is 1/6 of a full day. Now, it's Monday, and I actually ended up doing 6 AMC 8s yesterday, and I probably will not be able to do 6 today because I'm going ice skating.

Cadette-O-Rama - 11/2/2018 - 114/2018
Last week on Thursday night, I finished packing for Cadette-O-Rama. It's basically this camping thingy for cadettes, which is a level for girl scouts. The theme this year was mythical, magical creatures. This year was my first time doing Cadette-O-Rama and everyone in my troop was excited including me. So after school ended, I went to the back gate and gave my sister my backpack to bring home. I went to our troop leader's home, which was a short walk because she lives near our school. Then we drove to the place, and got set up. We put up all the tents, the ez-ups, the washing station, the eating tables, and the decorations. For dinner on Friday night, we just ate pizza. We went to sleep at around 11 P.M. because of other girls from other troops talking. I didn't get much sleep, I woke up at 5 in the morning and didn't go back to sleep. The next day (Saturday) was the real competitions and other things. For breakfast, we ate oatmeal or cereal. We also got unicorn headbands to match the mythical, magical creatures theme. So in the morning we did the skills competition, I did the map reading with another girl from my troop who was feeling sick that day so we had a little bit of a disadvantage. The person who was supposed to do rope-toss left the troop, so the troop leaders said I should do it, and I practiced, and I needed to know how to tie a bowline. I learned how to on a shorter and slimmer rope, and it was much easier, and then when I tried on the super long and super thick black rope, I couldn't do it. The time limit was 3 minutes, and I just stood there for 3 minutes trying to figure out how to tie a bowline with a string that I wasn't used to using. Then the entire troop (all the girls at least) did the knot tying thing, and I only got 1/9 which was the bowline (Yay!). Then, we went and ate lunch, which was ramen, it was pretty good. After that, we had fun competitions. The first competition I did was disk throwing, which my partner and I got 0 points, even though together we had 4 tries. After that, I went with another one of the girls in my troop to play red light, green light, and I've never played with yellow light and when they said it I thought it was a trick so I didn't move, we lost. Then I went and did "pin the eye on the cyclops" I only got 5 points for getting it on its face. Then, two other girls in my troop and I did a game called "Hera's Hunt", where you put on a costume, which was a wreath, a toga, a belt, and you would hold a sword, and then the first person completes and obstacle and goes back and the next person does the same thing. My teammates and I got first place, but we tied, and the other team that tied with us actually cheated, so we re-did it and got first place which earned us 10 points! Then we went back and did some swaps. Then at night time, for dinner, we at pasta. I managed to fall asleep at around 9 P.M., and I woke up at 2:50 A.M. to use the restroom, but then I went back to sleep and was woken up by another person at 5:00 A.M., and then I woke up at 6:00 A.M. again and didn't go back to sleep. It was actually daylight savings, so when I thought it was 7, it was only 6. For breakfast we ate pastries, like croissants or muffins, also scrambled eggs. Then, we went to the award ceremony, and our troop won 6th place out of 12 places (there were way more than 12 troops) in the fun competition. We didn't even place in the skills competition though. Then we went back to our site and took everything down and headed home. It was a fun experience. Next year, we hope to get even better at the skills, and do better at the fun events!

First Time Going to Florida!
The title is quite misleading, I haven't been to Florida, and I'm not going until June. I wrote a persuasive essay talking about letting me go to Florida. It's run by the company WorldStrides®. It's a five day trip, where we get to swim with dolphins and learn and other things. It's supposed to be educational, but I think it's mainly fun. My friend is going too, and I can't wait. I've never been to Florida before, and I'm really excited to go. I have to wait all the way until June though, basically 7 months. That's half a year! I feel so impatient. A few of my classmates are going too. I promised to get at least top 5% in AMC8 and this is my first year doing it, so I'm not sure I can, but let's hope for the best. I also promised to get at least into the MathCounts individuals, which is the top 10. They chose 16 people in our grade that tried out, and I got in, but they have to eliminate 6 people. We have to take tests and then they take our averages, and take the 10 best, and the top 4 get into team and all of the top 10 get to do the individual round. I hopefully can beat 6 people that got into the 16 people. I didn't promise that much, but it's still gonna be hard to get to. As I've probably said about a billion times, I'M SUPER EXCITED TO GO TO FLORIDA!!! I've never been there in my life and I'm super duper excited. My friend promised to just do what her parents asked her to go, and she got to go! My other friend is going to Europe at the same time of the Florida trip so sadly she cannot go. Another one of my friends is going to Florida too! It's going to be really fun.

A Summary of my 3 day weekend (9/6/18 - 9/8/18)
On Saturday I woke up to the sound of my sister playing with her toys. It was a toy bird that can record what you say and say it in a more high pitched way. So I woke up, and I just read my kindle for around an hour. Then at 10:00 I had to leave for Chinese school. My Chinese class ended at 12:30, so I waited for my sister's class to end which started at 1:30 and ended at 3:30. During those two hours I waited for my sister, I read my kindle and also had a burger from the Habit Burger. After I finished eating because I hadn't had lunch I read my kindle again and waited for her. Then my sister's class ended. We went home and that was about all that happened that day. Then on Sunday, I literally read my kindle book for around 2 or 3 hours, I mean for me, weekends are usually boring. At 1:00, I went to my friend's house for her birthday party. But it only started there, we went on a bike trail to a community park and ended up doing activities there. We drew marbles of a certain color, red or blue and I pulled a red marble. The first activity was water balloon toss, which our team lost even though we had 1 extra person. We were supposed to toss the water balloon at a person from our team and the person had to catch the ball, and we gradually backed up. The next game was football, a lot of us weren't really paying attention so we didn't win either. The blue team had 2 points and my team, the red team, had 0. The next game was rock stacking. Each team was split up into two teams. The two blue teams versus the two red teams. My team was the first to stack, we had to put a rock in our own little area, and after we placed down one rock we had a choice to either place down a rock on one of the two opposing teams or just do nothing. We sabotaged a certain team a lot, so they did the same to us. In the end, the team we sabotaged was eliminated, and the other blue team knocked down their tower. The two red teams both still stood! That was 1 point for us. It was 2 - 1. The last game was capture the flag (the flag was a single soccer ball). Whichever team won capture the flag would get 1.5 points. The field we used was huge, and we were allowed to hide our flag anywhere in the boundaries that the referees agreed to. We hid ours in a bush, and it was approved. The game had started. One of my teammates spotted their flag which was very obvious because it was a white, yellow, and blue ball in a green bush (they also hid their flag in a bush). We all tried to get their flag, but we ended up in "jail". I saved a few people from jail, and some people saved me from jail. We captured a lot of people that went on our side. In the end we got their flag, but it was a pretty long process. So first, a person from my team got the ball out of the bush and went a few feet before getting tagged. Then another person from my team picked it up and ran pretty far and handed it off to someone. They were both tagged. Then the flag was left at a point very close to the line diving the two sides. Someone from our team got the flag over and we won. We won capture the flag and also the entire event 2.5 - 2. After that we had cake and pizza. On Sunday morning I wake up to my sister singing and screaming, and I read my kindle for majority of the day. Then at 1:15 I had piano class, after piano class ended we went shopping. Then after shopping I read my kindle for a long time, but I am writing blog now.

Lily and the States Test
She woke up to the sound of breakfast and other things cooking.
"Wake up!" she said to her younger sister.
"But I don't want to!!" Amber replied.
"But you have to! We have school today," Lily exclaimed.
"Fine, first you get out of the room because your face is too ugly," Amber said smugly.
"Don't talk to me like that! You're three years younger than me, I'm beautiful!" Lily replied
After a weird chaotic morning they rushed downstairs and ate for 20 minutes. Since their school started at 8:05 A.M., they had to get to school quickly. At 7:50, they were on the car and going to school. "Can you help me study for my test?" Lily asked politely. "Since I'm so nice I will!" Amber replied. "Lily, you should have studied earlier," their dad said. "I did study, I just need to get this into my brain because I studied yesterday and I don't remember!" Lily said. So on the 15 minute drive to school Lily studied, and her second grade sister could recite almost all the states like Lily had to for her test. In fifth grade, Lily had to do a states test and her younger sister was already prepared! Then they ran quickly and got to school right before the bell rang. The bell rang and everyone was supposed to be in class. "Okay class! We're going to be taking our final states test, get your offices up!" Mrs. Morris said. The class replied with a series of murmurs and said "awws..." 30 minutes later Lily had finished her test, and double checked it, she had answered all the questions except for some of the extra credit. She quietly took down her office, put it back and started to read. Then it was recess. She just talked with her friends for 15 minutes and they went back to class for math. After a long boring session of easy math, it was lunch time. Lily ate with her friends for 20 minutes and then after lunch they had lunch recess for 20 minutes. Lily and her best friend Hailey played basketball with some other people. Then it was time to go back to class. They learned some science, and then they left school. That was the day of the final states test for Lily. Turns out she got everything right expect for making a silly mistake and spelling Connecticut wrong. With some extra credit points she scored a 107 percent.

My Weekend of Nothing
Yesterday was a Saturday, I went to Chinese school at 10:30 A.M. and my Chinese school ended at 12:30, my brother's Chinese school was at 8:30 A.M. and ended at 10:30. My sister's Chinese school was at 1:30 P.M. so we had time to eat lunch. We ate at a place called H-Mart, it is a market with groceries but there was a restaurant and a bakery inside of it. It was a really good restaurant, we had yummy beef with rice and some spicy tofu soup. It was super good in my opinion. Then, we dropped my sister off at Chinese school, and we went to the library. After we left the library my mom sent me home and I didn't do much for the rest of the day. At night after I showered my dad asked me if I had played piano, and guess what I hadn't. So I played piano and I had a huge headache. I went to sleep at around 9:10 P.M., and my brother's math class ended at 9:00 P.M., and he got home later so I actually fell asleep before he got home. I slept horribly, I have a cold right now. I remember waking up because it felt too warm and going downstairs. Well, I woke up and I played piano and now I'm here writing my blog. Well, my weekends are always boring!

Fablehaven: The Complete Series Book Review
Fablehaven (Book 1): Kendra and Seth are siblings that go to their grandparents house because their parents are on vacation. Grandpa gives Kendra a set of keys, and the clues lead to her drinking some milk, it was sweet, and she and Seth are able to see fairies after they drink the milk. Since Kendra and Seth solved the mystery their Grandpa tells them about the place, it is a secret preserve for magical beings named Fablehaven. Seth captures a fairy, and when a fairy is left indoors overnight she becomes an imp which is a fallen fairy or an evil one which is also ugly. The fairies punish Seth and he becomes a walrus, and he is turned back by a witch named Muriel who will be freed if all her knots are used to grant wishes, after that wish to bring Seth back to his normal state she only has one knot left. They found a message and it said that their chicken was actually their grandma, and they set Muriel free with the chicken turning back to their grandma. After Muriel was free she set Bahumat free (a demon) and all of Kendra's relatives were captured. She went to the fairy queen's shrine and asked for help, she was given a recipe for a potion, and all the fairies drank it and they turned big. Bahumat was destroyed, and was sent underground. Kendra realizes that without drinking the milk every day she can see fairies.
Rise of the Evening Star (Book 2): A year later, Kendra is in school and she sees a goblin at her school, and she is the only one at school who knows who he is because she could see fairies, it's called being fairystruck as she was told. She meets a person who helps them get rid of the goblin, but in the process a demon bites Seth and then he is followed by the demon. They realize that the person who helped them get rid of the goblin could not be trusted and then they are saved by a person named Vanessa who brings them to Fablehaven. There are three people who are helping Fablehaven Vanessa, Coulter, and Tanu, among them there is one traitor. Kendra and Seth see The Sphinx who they trust until later, Kendra turns out to be fairykind which is the maiden of the fairy queen. The traitor turns out to be Vanessa and she puts everyone in the dungeon. Vanessa also can control people in their sleep. Since Fablehaven is a secret preserve there is a secret artifact there, Seth goes and he faints after taking out the talisman of the creature guarding the artifact. Warren is catatonic after trying to do what Seth accomplished and because Seth did it Warren was back to normal and he and Kendra went for the artifact. They are at the last obstacle when they meet Vanessa. The guardian was guarding the artifact. They end up working together to get the artifact, and it is something that can heal anything. It is called the Sands of Sanctity, but in the end the Sphinx takes the artifact. The Sphinx takes out a prisoner and puts Vanessa in so that she cannot use her powers.
Grip of the Shadow Plague (Book 3): Kendra and Seth are back at Fablehaven. Kendra becomes a full fledged Knight of the Dawn which is against the Society of the Evening Star. She goes on a mission to another secret preserve called Lost Mesa with Warren and some others, one named Gavin Rose who is a dragon tamer and is only 16. All of them are Knights of the Dawn. They go through all of the obstacles including speaking to a dragon nicely, and they see no guardian guarding the artifact, and there is no artifact at all. Being fairykind, Kendra can see fairy language (silvian) and she reads something that talks about the artifact of the Lost Mesa being brought to Fablehaven. She tells no one but Warren, when they go back to Fablehaven they find the artifact which is called the chronometer. The chronometer controls time, so Seth brought Patton Burgess to the present for 3 days. He was actually a past owner of the preserve. Fablehaven had been taken over by a plague, it turns light creatures into dark creatures with one bite. Kendra goes to see the fairy queen again and she gets advice, she is told that it is with another demon named Kurisock. That demon had taken a form of a tree naiad who had lost her tree. She became immortal, and her tree had the talisman that was spreading the plague and also that talisman was the one that Seth pulled out. Seth went to a demon called Graulas and he was told that he was a shadow charmer because he pulled out the talisman (which was a nail). The fairy queen also gave Kendra another talisman that would destroy the nail and itself if in contact, and if the nail was destroyed so would Kurisock. In the end Patton's wife named Lena sacrificed herself and the nail and the talisman was destroyed.
Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary (Book 4): Kendra was kidnapped by the Society of the Evening Star, and is brought to the Sphinx who turned on the Knights of the Dawn and was actually the leader of both sides. The Sphinx forced her to look into oculus which could see anywhere and she managed to get out of the trance while most others went catatonic. Kendra escapes by using a bag called a knapsack, it has a lot of space and people can go in there, if a person goes in the knapsack and the knapsack is thrown they will not feel it. To be able to recover the key for the Obsidian Waste which houses the translocator. Warren, Gavin, Kendra, and some others that are part of the Knights of the Dawn go to Wyrmroost. Wyrmroost is a dragon sanctuary, and they need a unicorn's first horn to get it, so they ask the centuars they say no. In the middle of the night, Seth goes to Graulas and Graulas tells him that he can slink through the shadows, and because of that he manages to steal the unicorn horn. Kendra leaves and Seth is supposed to stay at Fablehaven but he hides in the knapsack; warren also leaves. They meet up and on a helicopter get to Wyrmroost. They get into Wyrmroost and meet a wizard named Agad. They stay at a camp for a while, and Kendra meets a tiny dragon named Raxtus who helps them. They go into the Dragon Temple and finally make it to the end and acquire some things and find the key. Dragons go for them, and it turns out Gavin is the person that the Sphinx let out of the prison that Vanessa went into. Gavin is really a dragon so evil that he is considered a demon, his name was Navarog. Navarog killed someone named Dougan who was a lieutenant in the Knights of the Dawn. Navarog burns the knapsack while Warren is in there and injured. Kendra corners Navarog in his human form so he cannot transform and the tiny dragon named Raxtus ate him. Then they barely managed to get out of Wyrmroost and back to Fablehaven.
Keys to the Demon Prison (Book 5): After Kendra and the others had gotten the key that would open the Obsidian Waste, they headed off to Australia to get the Translocator, which was inside of the Obsidian Waste. The translocator would bring three people to a place where at least one of them had been to before. They go in and are being followed by people from the Society of the Evening Star. They finish all the obstacles and meet two guardians. They were mechanical animals, the mechanical lion had a keyhole on its chin. They manage to escape with the Translocator but Seth is captured in a gaseous state. Kendra saves warren because she had been inside the knapsack before. Seth was brought to a prison in a secret preserve that everyone really didn't know about, only the Sphinx and some others. Seth meets Bracken who was a unicorn but his third horn was taken away so he couldn't revert to unicorn form. Kendra thought her mom's side's grandparents were dead, but they really weren't. They used the Translocator to get to the secret preserve named Living Mirage to save Seth. All of them end up getting captured though. Seth finds the Sands of Sanctity and the Translocator; he goes back to Fablehaven and finds Graulas. Seth heals Graulas and then the demon takes the artifacts and goes to Living Mirage. The Sphinx is no longer the enemy, and he ended up helping them. The Sphinx helped Warren, Bracken, and Kendra get out of the prison. They find Raxtus who helps them get to places. After Seth had escaped he when to the Singing Sisters who gave him advice, and he went to find a sword of light and darkness called Vasilis. He ended up getting it, and he also got items from a leprechaun. They get to the demon prison; the artifacts were to open the prison. There is a fight and Kendra ends up taking Vasilis and slays the demon king, all of the demons are put into the fairy realm since the fairies had evacuated. After that, Kendra and Seth's four grandparents and their parents were released.
REVIEW: I really loved this series, I think it's my new favorite. I read this book over vacation on my kindle and it was 34 hours long. I just figured out today that there is a sequel; I can't wait to read the sequel! My sister was bugging me the whole time I was reading the book because on the road trip she wanted me to play with her.

Summer Vacation 2018
I just came back from a 13 day vacation. It was a long road trip. On the first day (Saturday) we left for Salt Lake City on a 10 hour drive. We managed to arrive at around 9 P.M. even though normally we end up getting places at around 12 A.M. The second day we drove to Yellowstone. We stayed at Old Faithful Inn, and we saw Old Faithful erupt, in all I saw about 8 eruptions or so. The next day we went to see more springs and geysers, but we went to stay at Mammoth Hot Spring. The fourth day we went to the Mammoth Hot Springs and stayed there for around 2 hours. The water was so cold, but when you get near the sources it's super warm and fun. We stayed at The Lake Cabin and we went boating that day. Then we drove places and saw more springs and geysers, and we stayed at the Canyon hotel. We saw a rainbow in a waterfall that day too, and it was real fun. That was the sixth day and we drove to Grand Teton. That night we stayed at a hotel and although we were in a national park there was actually WiFi! Then we saw the Grand Teton and took pictures and went on a bunch of short hikes. On the seventh day we stayed at a Holiday Inn and we had spent the morning at Grand Teton. We went to Glacier National Park and stayed at Holiday Inn again. The next day we drove to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and stayed at another Holiday Inn. And then we went to Mount Rushmore and that was real cool. My siblings and I also did Junior Ranger there to pass the time, and we stayed at a place called Staybridge Suites. On the 11th day we went to Badlands National Park and stayed at the same place as the day before. On the Badlands day we had remaining time and we went to the pool at the hotel. Then we went to Wind Cave National Park, and took a tour of the cave that had wind blowing either in or out of it depending on the air pressure. Then we drove a five hour drive to Denver, and stayed at a place called Comfort Suites. Then the next day which was the 13th day we drove to Las Vegas which was a 12 hour drive not including stops, and we stayed at a place called a Tuscany. Then, today, we drove 5 hours home.

It's Finally Here
It's finally here. Vacation! Tomorrow my family and I plan to leave super early "before sunrise" which is not too good. I don't want to wake up super early, but you know since it's a 10 hour drive to Salt Lake City I'll do it! I hope vacation is fun, I don't know why but I'm really eager to see the hotels, and not the real thing. I am looking forward to the entire vacation itself though. So after we reach Salt Lake City I think we're going to Yellowstone, I'm not sure. I thought it was a two day drive from where I live, I don't remember though. I'm not looking forward to the car drive there (did I mention that it's a road trip?). My dad said that at Yellowstone we're going to be doing a lot of hiking, and he even said that that was the main point of this trip. I would like to just go sight-seeing because I'm lazy but I'm probably going to go hiking anyway. I think hiking will be fun. I've been to Yellowstone before but it was around 3 - 4 years ago. Since I was a little younger back then, I think I only hiked a few of the trails and stayed in the car with the AC on with my mom. My dad and my brother always were the ones hiking, since my brother's a boy scout I think that's the main reason he actually went hiking. If he had a choice and he didn't want to earn badges I think he would have stayed back; but I don't know. I'm really looking forward to going to Yellowstone!

My Friend From 2 1/2 Years Ago
Around 2 and a half years ago I met a friend named Monica. She was very nice, but after the school year ended she spent one year in China and now lives in Singapore. For Summer vacation her mom and her decided to come to the U.S.A for around a month. Since I hadn't seen her in so long, the moment I saw her (at a restaurant where we ate together) I hugged her super hard. I had missed her, but now she is leaving in around 5 days. So I saw her at a nice Chinese restaurant, and we ate and then played at a park, it was about a three hour experience. Then around 2 or 3 days later we had a sleepover, since she was living with her mom's friend. It was super fun, we played a bunch of Mario Kart and other video games. On the day of the sleepover which was a Friday, we went to a park and had lots and lots of fun. At the park, we went on the tire swing, and we did other things. Then, we had a swinging competition. My favorite part of that day was racing up the hill and then rolling down the hill and seeing who could finish the obstacle first. After a few more swing races, we went back to her temporary house. The funny thing was that we actually managed to stay up until around 12:30 A.M. I didn't get a lot of sleep but it was worth it. We did a bunch of pillow fights and everything. On Saturday morning, I played a bit more with her, and then I went home. Then one or two weeks later, we played together again at the same park that we went to on the day of the sleepover. On that day, we did more obstacle courses and we were timing each other, and my sister was there too. We also did the fun hill rolling obstacle, and I gave both of them a 6 second head start but I still managed to win or get 2nd place! Yesterday, which was a Wednesday we saw each other again and ate dinner together. The dinner was incredibly good, and her mother was such a good cook. After dinner we played like an hour of video games, and then I sadly had to go home. It was really fun playing with her.

Only A Few Days
I cannot wait for vacation! It's almost here, it's in about.... let me check my calendar. Only three more days! These few days leading up to vacation day, I've been very bored. So these days I've just been either reading my kindle or watching youtube or playing video games. Most of the time, I've been sleeping. I want to go on vacation, but after vacation it's school. I feel like summer has passed by so quickly. I remember just the last day of school, and now I realize that there's only about 5 more months until Christmas and I still remember 2017 Christmas. I just feel time is going by so quickly, each day passes in a blink.

Vacation Finally!
After my math class is over, I would have finished my musical theater summer camp and my math class. I sadly still have one more week of camp, it's basketball camp. Last year I did basketball camp, and I did it with my friends. All three of us had sore legs for 3 days straight. On the second day last year, we had a playdate and we could barely move for the playdate because of our sore legs. Now, I'm doing it alone with my sister only, and I wanna see if I get sore legs or if I will be fine. Last year it was pretty fun, but not the best. I still can't wait. Hmm.. Is there a name for this blog post? Yes! I'm supposed to be talking about vacation. For vacation my family and I plus my grandparents are going to go to Yellowstone. My family has already been there, but since my grandparents haven't we're going again. In around 2 - 3 weeks from now, we're going to be leaving by car and driving to Yellowstone. It'll be about a 2 week trip, and guess what I've already packed! And the funny thing is, is that my family always goes on road trips, and we rarely go by plane, I've been to basically the entire west side of the U.S.A. because of road trips.

Summer Day (Fun?)
Today is a Saturday, and it's summer. There's never anything to do on Saturdays. Even during school, I had classes on Saturday, but in the summer, Saturdays are just plain boring. On the weekdays of summer I have classes, right? It's fun during the classes (even if it does have to be educational stuff like math), but then after the classes are over I have to play piano and write blog and then do nothing. Oh, but I remembered, I can do my homework! Still, everyone acts like weekends are super fun because there's no school, but when you think about it... If you don't have anything to do at home because you're not on vacation, there's seriously nothing to do. Today, I just talked about how boring Saturdays are, I know I'm so creative. Tomorrow, I might write a blog post on how boring Sundays are. You know..

Summer Math Class
On Monday, I started this match class. We learn math that is around one or two years above our normal math standards. It's a three hour class. In the first hour we learn stuff, and then we have a fifteen minute break. In the fifteen minute break, everyone gets super loud and it's really annoying. Today everyone was talking about some very odd and not very appropriate things. After the weird break we had another math lesson with another teacher, and after that we had break, and then with the forty five minutes remaining we did a test. We do this every single day for two weeks except sometimes for the last 45 minutes we play some games or do something fun. It's okay, I guess but the sad thing is that we have math homework, 20 problems.

Forgetting to Write Blog
On Sunday, I went somewhere, but we came home late because the drive was one hour an thirty minutes. I had not time to write a blog post because it was very late. but it was a very fun day. First we went to this blueberry farm, and we were picking blueberries, we ended up spending $90 on blueberries! But, we also bought this boysenberry jam. The blueberries were $6 for one pint, and we got 9 pints. They were so big and sweet compared to store bought ones. After we went blueberry picking we went to a mall to eat lunch. After lunch we drove to this lake, and we were planning on renting a motorboat to go on the lake. But we didn't find a place to go motor boating, so we just sat there enjoying blueberries, because it would be a waste to drive someplace and then do nothing there. All in all, the trip was pretty fun, but when we drove there I felt like throwing up because we had to drive on mountains. The lake we went to was also very dirty, and there were other people swimming and playing in the lake, but it was gross so we didn't.

Last Day of...
Today was the last day of musical theater summer camp. We just watched our performance, and ate snacks that everyone had brought in. Before he movie we had recess, and we also watched people perform songs to music. The student would pick whatever song they would want to sing and the teacher would play the song on her phone, and she also filmed the person singing with her iPad. It was really fun, but sadly today was the last day of summer camp. I'm keeping this blog post short because the device I'm using to write this is glitching and is making it hard for me to type. I mainly can't tap anything, I am using an iPad.

Performance Time!
Today was the second to last day of summer camp. Since I did musical theater, as I had explained in my previous blog, we performed today in front of a lot of kids and parents, also some teachers. When I first arrived at summer camp we ran through the entire show once and with remaining time practiced other parts. But after recess we practiced for a small amount of time and then, it was time for the performance. The first time we ran through the entire show fully, it took us 58 minutes because the teacher had to tell us to correct and also taking a long time to change the sets. On the day of the performance when we practiced it was only 47 minutes, we narrowed it down by over 10 minutes! For the real show it was a bit longer because of clapping. In the beginning everyone was super nervous, but since Belle had an opening song after the narrators, she was most nervous (also because she's the main character, the Beast is a main character too). The teacher gave us all a pep talk, and we did a circle squeeze to calm us down. The show was around 50 minutes but it felt like 10. It was incredibly fun. In the beginning of musical theater, it wasn't really fun because we didn't do the entire thing together with props and costumes. But because of us being able to change the sets, wear costumes, and use props, it was much more fun. After the performance, we all took pictures and cleaned up. Tomorrow, we're going to have a class party to celebrate our success! This musical theater summer camp has been super fun.

Summer Camp
For summer camp I decided to do musical theater. The show that we did for musical theater was Beauty and the Beast. We had to audition for roles, including narrator, for some reason. You could audition for five at most. First, we were given audition packets to practice. Then, we got a packet full of all the songs. Lastly, an email with a ten page script was sent to us and we printed it out. I got the role of Mrs. Potts, which is a teapot that is very round and is the mother to the cup named Chip. For my costume I got this huge puffy skirt that goes down to my shins. I also wear a cute teapot hat and an apron, plus a little thing around my neck. Chip, which is the tiny cup also wears the hat and the thing around the neck. The costumes are all really nice. The person who plays the Beast has to wear a fake beast beard and two gloves with creepy fingers. In other words, the beautiful costumes are well beautiful. We've worked really hard for over two weeks and we're performing on Monday. It'll be so fun!

First Day of Summer Camp
Today was the first day of summer camp, and the thing that was funny was that summer camp started on a Thursday (which is today) and ends on a Tuesday. It's only 14 days of summer camp. Last year it was 15 days, which was 3 weeks, except on July 4th there was no summer camp, so now that I think about it, summer camp lasts for 14 days. I did musical theater, and my sister did this movie making camp. We're doing Beauty and the Beast this time, and tomorrow, which is Friday is when we're auditioning. So far the musical itself seems nice. We're probably going to play games, and perform the musical. It started at 8:30 and ended at noon. After camp was over, I went to pick up my brother from basketball camp with my mom after she had picked up my sister and me. I'm not sure what to audition for, there's Belle and the Beast and other characters, but the teacher says that everyone has to audition no matter what role you want. In other words the teacher says that even though you want the ensemble/chorus you still have to sing in front of everyone as the audition. The teacher says that everyone will sing the song in front of others, and your classmates will rate you and star the best person that they think would do the best as that role.

The 2nd Day of Summer
Today is the third day of summer vacation, it was so boring. I didn't do anything, mainly because I didn't have classes while my other siblings did. First off, I woke up at 8:00 A.M. literally at that exact time. Then I read a book and ate breakfast. I felt sick, so I went to sleep for around an hour. Then, my siblings went to camp, and I stayed at home watching youtube. Yes, I know. Watching youtube, so fun... After that, I ate lunch at around 1 P.M., then I just read for an entire 2 hours. Then I went to the pool, got home showered, then ate dinner. After dinner, my family and I went to play basketball. Then we went home, and here I am writing this blog. It was such a boring and short day that I literally summarized it in around 5 sentences. Okay, maybe more than that, but you get the idea.

Family Outing
Today, my family and I went to Irvine Regional Park. We went there because for boy scouts, my brother had to do volunteer hours. He was supposed to work there for 3 hours. First, we dropped my brother off. Then, we went onto the little train ride, that was like a small and short 10 minute tour. After the train ride was over, my sister went on a horse and I didn't because I was too tall. After her 3 minute ride, we went over to ride a single surrey. It's where two people peddle and two children can fit in the front. We managed to fit one more person in the back but not peddling. We went places, and we peddled a lot for an entire hour. It was so fun, but I'm not going to describe it now. After that, we drove to In-N-Out for lunch, then we went home.

Testing
At school, we had to do around 3 week of testing. Because of testing, our teacher didn't give us as much homework. Which was nice, and we only had around one to two things, and if we had more it was short, or we didn't finish it in class. Now that testing is over, school's almost out! The sad part is that we have way more homework and it's back to 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes of homework. During testing times, we only would do around 45 minutes of homework at max. Well, that was me. But I think other people who take the time to check their math homework took longer. I don't usually check my math homework. Now that I think about it, no matter what we always have math homework. Math homework has always been the easiest, but since we finally finished the 11 lessons of math, we now have to go onto math that is for the next grade. None of it's particularly hard. It's really easy. Testing was not hard, but we didn't even learn the science part. Testing was easy, that was the good part. Also, we had fewer other tests, and less homework! That's much nicer. Now, we have to go back to schedule and kind of wrap up the year.

Business Day
First off, business day is this thing in school. It's where you make a product which is optional, and you sell it for class money. My friend and I made donut holes. We had three donut holes in one decorated ziplock bag or something. We sold them for $60 class dollars. Then we lowered to $40 and to $20 and at the end we had them at $10. We made around 30 bags, and ended up with 9 bags, so we didn't do that bad. The day before, which was yesterday, Sunday, we made the donut holes. I was at her house for four hours straight, that's how time consuming it was. But all in all, it was extremely fun!

Possibly the Most Random Thing
The title is random, and guess what the title states that this is possibly the most random thing! How convenient. Well, the main random thing is that... Well, I'm not very sure. Well, today my mom said she would bring us to a donut store, and I said I didn't need them, but she said we should still go. My mom said I should write a blog post about how she uses the excuse of buying her children yummy snacks, but she secretly does it for her own good. Like once she wanted to buy ice cream, she chose her favorite flavor and let us pick whatever we wanted. So, her excuse is "I'm buying it for the kids." Then she eats it all, okay not all but... a lot of it. So, she wants to go to the donut store so she can try the donuts, she has been there many times before and it was her favorite donut store.. but I've never gone there, and I really really really want to try them now. So to sum it all up, my mom wanted to buy donuts for herself, and make it sound like she was buying it for us. Well, even if she did use that excuse we still get to eat it, but she gets part of the sweets.

Spring Break
Right now is the fourth day of spring break, I think. It has been very boring. One Saturday, which was kinda the first day, I had Chinese school, and that was all for the entire day. Even though I only had Chinese school I had to wait, so at Chinese school I had to wait like 5 hours. Then on Sunday I went to art class, and after that I did nothing. So on Monday I did nothing but use the computer, read, and do the normal stuff. And Tuesday, today, has been the exact same as Monday. I'm not going on vacation, or at least I think. My family has not planned to go anywhere for vacation. So, for 9 days straight I get to be bored. But at least some of my classes were not cancelled because of spring break, and with my classes I might have something to do. Since my spring break is so boring, this blog post is bound to be boring and very short. In general, there is nothing to do in Spring Break. I want to go somewhere for vacation, but where..? Oh well. Today is Tuesday. And not much has happened in spring break.

Fly. (Part 3)
So, the mystery bird had acted like he knew me. But I obviously didn't know him. Well, I flew off because of how annoyed of how annoying he was, yes seriously. I really hope that I never fly into him again. Well, when I think about it, the possibilities of him knowing the bird that I took the form of was quite high. I was determined to go back to my own world, and not be stuck in this bird body. I so wanted to get out of there. Being a bird was very odd, the feeling was just, well.. It's quite hard to explain. So, I went on flying and soaring above the trees, and then my instinct of course made me swoop down to catch my prey. The anger the pulsed inside of me, I just didn't understand how I had gotten into that alternate world, and why I had to be a falcon. "AHHHHHH!!!" I screamed so loudly it hurt. Sadly, all the sound that came out was the sound of a falcon, how sad. It was so frustrating, I felt like I was gonna explode. Think... What can I do? ARGH! I FEEL LIKE THERE IS NO ESCAPE FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. I thought. Oh well, I was raging while I flew past that same bird that I had argued with that earlier day.
"Hello!" I said.
"What do you want?" the bird questioned.
"Do you know how to help me get out of this place? I have a feeling your friend falcon has taken the body of me in Earth." I said.
"This is still Earth...."
"Really? Oh well, but you can get your friend back if you save me, sound good?"
"Hmm... Well, I don't really like you and I want to play with him..."
"EXCUSE ME?!"
"Yeah, I don't like you that much."
"Humph, fine."
"HELP ME NOW!"
"Yes, yes."
"My grandfather eagle has a book on body swapping that I looked at yesterday because of you."
"So, let's get going."
"Okay, fly behind me."
I "flew behind him" and then we were at his nest. It was huge.. He must have came from a very rich family.
"Well.. Where is this book?" I asked.
"Oh, yes. Grandfather!" the bird said.
"Yes? Eric?" Eric's grandfather answered.
"Hello!" I said.
"What do you want?" the bird questioned.

Fly. (Part 2)
Then.. I drifted off into a sleep. There I saw birds. That's all. Then I looked down.. I had talons. Talons of a falcon? Then I realized I was a falcon, my eyesight was sharp. I flapped my arms. I flapped them repetitively, and the sad thing was... I actually lifted up into the sky. I glided in the air. I could finally hear the wind in my ears, rushing the other way. I looked down, and I just instinctively flew down and grabbed a lizard. I tasted it.. IT WAS GROSS. First off, why did I eat it? And why could I taste it?
Oh my goodness. I realized that I was actually the bird. I can usually wake myself up, I tried opening my eyes larger, but it wouldn't work! Was I stuck in this alternate universe forever?
"Hello?" I said. Nothing came out, All I heard was the sound of a falcon. It wouldn't work! I couldn't do it. I was going to have to survive, as a falcon. Well.. Last week we did talk about birds of prey... I think there was something about falcons. Oh yeah! Well, I remember that I swooped down to eat that lizard by myself, it was instinct. So many I can just follow my falcon instinct. I thought.
A day had gone by. I watched the sun set. West. WEST! Where could I have been? Then I remembered, I didn't have a lead, falcons lived basically everywhere except Antarctica. Oh well, I thought. I'm just gonna have to live with this. WAIT! I could talk to the other birds here in my bird language. Hmm.. I'll see if they can understand me. I thought.
"Hey!" I cawed.
"Hey, little man!" a bird called to me.
Wait a sec, I'm not a girl anymore? Oh well, this is awkward.
"Hi..." I said surprised.
"You seem.. different."
"Yeah, well, I kinda am."
"What could you mean by that?"
"Um... I'm a human."
The other bird gasped so loud that I felt like my ears were going to explode.
"A HUMAN!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
"Yes."
"Wait.. How are you a bird then? You're pulling my leg."
"You don't have legs."
"IT'S AN IDIOM."
"Well... How would you know? You aren't human..."
"Fine. Bye."

Fly. (Part 1)
On a bright, sunny, summer day, birds flew by with such grace. I knew right then, that I could fly with them. It was instinct. I was sure. Thinking, I knew I couldn't do much then, but with just courage I could do it. More birds flew by, I listened silently to how the wind would flow with such current, it was like the flapping of the birds and the wind was music. The harmonies between the two. It was pure magic. I flapped my arms like a crazy bird. And I jumped. That may not have been the smartest thing to do, but I got ahead of myself! So you can't blame me! Anyway, I just jumped from the swings.
"Oof!" I yelped.
"Umm... Are you okay?" someone asked.
"Yeah..." I said full of embarrassment.
"Why did you jump off again?" the same someone asked.
"I don't know," I said not wanting to admit my "defeat".
"Well, you better head to the nurse, it looks like a big bruise!" the someone said, which happened to be my teacher.
"Okay, well, bye," I said.
Off I went, still daydreaming about flying. Then I saw a bird of prey. It looked at me, and I barely noticed that it was eying my hat. It just happened to have a small bird pin on it. It swooped down at me, and I was too busy listening to the sound of its wings that it ended up taking my hat, and it just happened to be one of the hats that I treasured! I ran after it and I flapped my wings. Of course it didn't work. There I sat in despair on a bench. When I got home, I just sat there on my bed. Thinking. And thinking.

How Horrible I Feel
Last night, my sister had fallen asleep, and whenever I started to fall asleep she would cough super loudly and then I wake up. How annoying! So I told my dad, and he let me sleep downstairs on the sofa. When I woke up, I was so tired, but at 6:20 A.M. or something like that I woke up and played piano for 30 minutes.
When I got to school that morning, I was so tired, and I could barely focus on stuff in school. At school I kept on playing Knockout (a basketball game). And people were screaming (me too). So when I got into the classroom I was so tired. And then I got home and I did my homework and it made my eyes super droopy. Then at like 3:50 P.M. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 5:00 P.M or something. And now I am super tired and I feel sick writing this blog.

Chinese Lantern Festival
I went to Segerstrom hall and I watched many shows. It was fun I; got to make lanterns. I made lanterns and after that I watched the show and people sang, dance, played in the orchestra, and people also played their wind or brass instrument it was kinda boring.
For lunch I got to eat ice cream and I ate a little bit of this rice. Also, everything was a food truck and the lines took like 20 minutes each. The ice cream that I ordered was strawberry flavored with a waffle thing or it was called a funnel cake; and it was funny because when I held it it was hot an it was also cold. I also made the lantern which I put little flowers on; it was simple. When I got home I made this little dog lantern (it is the year of the dog) the LED light that I put in it was rainbow and it would light up. During the time that I was there (which was like 4 hours) I had to deal with my annoying sister that kept on bugging me.

I Learned to Write Calligraphy!
The title might not make sense, but I watched a few YouTube videos about calligraphy, and now I can write calligraphy (kind of)! So, I learned that in calligraphy you need a brush pen, but I watched another video and she used highlighters, I also found that you can just use normal pen. So, first you need to write in cursive, and then all the down strokes (the strokes that you make and they are supposed to be facing you) must be darker and the up strokes stay the same (the upstrokes are the strokes that you make that don't face you). That is basically it. I am completely obsessed with calligraphy now and I have been doing many art projects with calligraphy writing. I learned all this from a YouTuber called studyquill.

Think Before You Speak
"Ow!"
"Are you okay?"
"I guess..."
Neviah didn't understand what had happened. Madison suddenly had tripped on.. it seemed, a stick? She didn't understand she just didn't...
Well, maybe it was me.. I said something about making Madison trip because she was actually hurting my best friends with words... Oh well, just a coincidence, I doubt it. Neviah thought, but little did she know, whatever she said: good or bad, would come true if it was a wish. Earlier Neviah had said, "I wish that Madison would trip, she is so rude." And it came true. This was the day when I learned my power. I am Neveah Brown, now ruler of the entire America, it was what I wished for, and so I got it. 13 years ago, I was 12 in middle school, and I didn't believe it, but now I know.
"I really wish that I will pass this test.. it's 50% of our grade, Lucy!" I stated.
"Yeah, same. I studied though, you?" Lucy asked.
"I.. Uh... Yeah.. I guess," I lied.
"You sure? Oh well, good luck!"
I took the history test, and when I got it back..
"A 92%... Well, that's not what I expected," Lucy said.
"That's good!" I commented.
"So.. what'd you get?" she asked me.
"An A+.."
"WHAT?! GOOD JOB! Why do you sound so sad?"
"Because I didn't study and I got a good grade! I don't understand!"
"Well.. It's good.. So live with it, girl!"
"O-oh kay."

The Disastrous Morning
The disastrous morning, hmm.. What could have happened? Where I am right now, it had rained the night before. When I first left for school I was already running late. My mom drove us there, and it started to rain again! Oh how sad. We were originally going to go through the back gate, but it was raining too hard. Then we went through the front, or we were going to, then it stopped raining! So we could have gotten to school before without the rain and we would have been to school. We were stuck in traffic (yes, traffic near a school), and then the bell rang and we were supposed to be in class, but I was late. Then I walked up to school late, in the pouring rain, and when we had left there was no rain as I stated, so we didn't bring an umbrella! Well, then after the morning, I was soaked for an hour, and then I completely forgot it rained. Then the day was over in a blur. Well, my mom looked at this blog and said it was too short, then I think: this is probably the longest blog I've actually ever written which means most of my blogs are two sentences. Umm... After it rained I got into the classroom, and I had to put my backpack the farthest away. This is boring, I'm ending it. My mom still says this is not enough, and she told me to add random stuff. So.. I went to girl scouts on Sunday, and I missed watching Black Panther because of that, and I sold 7 cookies, only 7! I missed the party, I was super sad.

Dreams
Everyone dreams, right? I don't know. Well, I rarely dream, and when I dream it is a bad dream. Do most people have scary nightmares after watching or reading about something scary? Well it doesn't happen to me for some strange reason. I can watch or read something scary and then go to sleep, and I will have no bad dreams. Maybe that's just me. Maybe everyone else is like that. Maybe some people don't even dream. Oh well, I will never know (unless I will).

Anime Recommendations
Anime Recommendations. Well, my friend had recommended an Anime show on Tuesday or Wednesday. I didn't really decide to start to watch it until Thursday. It is so touching, it is a mix of sadness, humor, and happiness. The 10th episode that I am watching right now while writing this blog, is so sad. I will not talk about it, but I realize that if someone recommends you something, you should at least try it out. The show is called Fairy Tale Zero on YouTube. I have never really decided to watch any anime except for RWBY which is also on YouTube, and I like how the main characters are all girls. I feel like it is girl empowerment even if it is not, I just feel like that.

Boringess
Boringness. It's not a word, but I don't care. I mean like boring-ness. As in like boredom. Well, I don't know why I write blog every day (I don't write blog every day though). Whenever I write blog, I just have no inspiration at all, and my parents expect me to write blogs about actual stuff, but then I see here that like half my blogs are about not knowing what to write about. Today I had an OBI which is an oral book interview. The person who interviewed me was Diya's dad, he was nice and the questions he asked were good. My mom was an interviewer so we had to leave early and park at the side of the road so we could walk up to school. My mom told me what to write, and she wanted me to write more, but I obviously am too "bored" so I didn't. I am still bored.

President's Day
Today is President's day. All I did was homework, that was literally it. I spent 10 hours plus breaks and playing with my sister doing homework. Yes, homework, now I wonder how much a person can have. Well, a lot. I had random homework. First off, I have math homework, then I had oral book interview notes, then I had Chinese homework, then I had piano, then I had math, then I had blog. I think there may be a few more, but that's all I remember. It took so long. Life is so boring for me, my mom said that. "Life is so boring for you." She says.

Honor Chorus Practice
So, I am in honor chorus, which is like honors, but where you sing. Last week I also had an honor chorus practice, and I think it went okay. Today's honor chorus practice was a little different and we mainly just learned some new things. First off, we warmed up after I signed in. After we warmed up we started with a latin song, I forgot the name, but it was very beautiful and slow. Secondly, we actually sang a song in English called Rhythm of Life, and it's majority of the time fast and usually at mezzo forte. The last song we sang or practiced was Akatonbo, a Japanese folk song, and it is also beautiful, and slow. After that, I went home and started to practice the songs a little more. I cannot wait for the honor chorus performances.

The Journey of Time [Part 6]
Part 5...
"The only thing you're doing is agreeing with me, is there something wrong with you?"
"Yep."
"Seriously, Alisa, don't mess around right now!"
"Sure."
"Uhhh...."
A dark cloud formed overhead...
"ALISA!!! WAKE UP!" Wayne yelled helplessly.
"Yes." Alisa answered mindlessly.
Wayne looked up, the dark cloud... Suddenly there was thunder, then lightning.
"Alisa, seriously.."
"Yeah."
"WHAT HAS HAPPENED?!"
"Sure."
Then lighting struck. The lightning struck right next to Wayne, what are the chances?!
Alisa screamed. She didn't look as clueless, she had waken up out of her trance.
"Alisa?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yes."
"You are still only answering me, though."
"No, seriously, I'm okay. But what happened?"
"You were only answering m-..."
Wayne was cut off, the dark king.. The dark king stood right in front of them with a mocking sneer.
"Hello, children, what could you two be doing here?" The dark king asked.
"The only thing you're doing is agreeing with me, is there something wrong with you?"
"Yep."
"Seriously, Alisa, don't mess around right now!"

The Journey of Time [Part 5]
Part 4...
"Well, maybe we can bribe the bad king to make a potion for bringing back the dead, I only know that 'cause I read books."
"Hmm... That plan sounds legit.. but how do we get jewelias?"
"I have no idea."
So, off they went, looking for jewelias, first they stumbled across a small girl.
"H-Hello.." the girl stuttered, "Who are you?"
"Oh, hey there, don't be scared, we're just here to-" Alisa was cut off.
"We're not here to do anything, but a question for you: what are jewelias?" Wayne asked.
"My mother said I was not allowed to talk to strangers, and not to be rude, even though your clothes do not look normal and look very out of place," The little girl covered her mouth and blushed "sorry, I did not mean it,"
"Okay..." Alisa said suspiciously.
"If you really want to know, jewelias are the currency here,"
"Okay, thank you, and our clothes are not weird," Wayne retorted.
They walked off.
"Wait, Wayne, was there something weird about her? Just the way she walked..." Alisa questioned.
"I think there was something wrong with her, I swear.. The dark look she wore when she said that her mommy said 'not to talk to strangers.'"
"Yep."
"There's something wrong about her, but I just can't like grab it.."
"I know right?!"
"The only thing you're doing is agreeing with me, is there something wrong with you?"
"Yep."
"Seriously, Alisa, don't mess around right now!"
"Sure."
"Uhhh...."

There is Nothing to Write About
There is really nothing to write about. It's.. What would you call it? "Having no inspiration" Yes. Have you ever wondered how singers think of their songs? Well, it's called "Having inspiration" While I have no inspiration. Hmmm.. Imagine singers with no inspiration, where would all their songs be? Well, the songs wouldn't exist. It's like this: Have you ever tried to think of an original tune to a song? It's really hard, and even if you do, you will majority of the time find that it has some part of another song (that's for me at least). The lyrics are easy, though. Well.. I used that as a reference to having no inspiration. The analogy isn't that good but, as I was saying, NO INSPIRATION! I write blog.. and that's it. But when I write blog, I am very bored, and I don't think very thoroughly about what I'm going to write about. This is a very repetitive blog post, I keep on saying I have no inspiration, but to be honest, I don't! Oh wait, there it is again.

The Journey of Time [Part 4]
Part 3...
"I think I hear birds, wait no, conversation, coming from the room in the middle, most likely the throne room."
"Since when do you have such sharp ears and know about that stuff?"
"Oh, I just do."
They walked into the room, the dark king, and the good king...
They had found the dark king and the good king having conversation in the throne room.
"No, I will not let you rule." the good king negotiated.
"How about 700 jewelias?" the bad king asked.
"Well.. that is a lot, but no."
"Oh, really? 1,000 jewelias?"
The good king was resisting the urge to take the deal, you see he wanted to be rich too. Jewelias were the currency there.
"No!"
"Then we will duel."
In the duel the dark kind killed the good king, and he ruled over. Thunder stormed, lightning... The waves crashed onto the shore of the rocky beaches.
"Uh-oh.." Alisa said.
"I think this is where it started..." Wayne commented.
"Yep."
"Well... I guess we didn't stop it."
"But we can..."
"What..? How?"
"Did you see how they talked about those jewelias?"
"Uhh.. Yeah."
"Well, maybe we can bribe the bad king to make a potion for bringing back the dead, I only know that 'cause I read books."
"Hmm... That plan sounds legit.. but how do we get jewelias?"

The Journey of Time [Part 3]
Part 2...
"You ready, Alisa?" Wayne asked.
"Let's do this!" Alisa responded.
They ran into the portal together, and then they were back 400 years, 1598.
From 1958 they had gone to 1598, way before George Washington was born! Wow, that dude was old.
"Uhh.. Where do we start?" Wayne questioned.
"You ask a lot of questions, but.. I think I know where, turn around."
"Oh. My. Goodness. What is that?"
"It's evidently the Good King's castle, just by reading the sign, and seriously, what's with your questions!?"
"I ask questions, I'm smart."
"Sure..."
"Want to go in?"
"Another question. Wow. But let's go in!"
The two were inside the castle, it was empty, or so they thought. All the candles hung on the castle walls were dimly lit by. Their footsteps echoed across the hall.
"Hello?" Wayne yelled.
"Seriously, all you know how to do is ask questions! Questions, questions, questions, I can't believe I didn't notice that you asked so many questions till now!"
"Can you please stop saying that?"
"Mhm.. Question!"
"Fine, let's go, I can hear something"
"Wait, you hear something?"
"Ah-ha! You asked the question this time!"
"Fine, so what do you hear?"
"I think I hear birds, wait no, conversation, coming from the room in the middle, most likely the throne room."

The Journey of Time [Part 2]
Part 1...
They walked back to school, went to the auditorium, and waited.
"Hello?" Alisa hollered.
Hello... I am speaking in both of your minds, do not be startled....
The voice spoke again.
Don't be startled, really. I'm not evil, I'm on your side, assuming you're on the good side. I was the king of the skies once, haven't you noticed the storms? That's the dark king of storms, he makes everyone stay in. Haven't you noticed? I need you two to travel back in time four hundred years ago and make me king again.
"What? How do we do that? What's required for this?" Alisa questioned.
DON'T INTERRUPT ME!
Alisa and Wayne retreated.
Sorry, even if I'm good, it doesn't mean I got a good temper. So, you'll have to go back in time and see me when I was reigning and talking to my brother, you'll probably know who he is, wears a lot of black... Yeah! You gotta kill my brother and the moment you do that, a portal will open and it will only stay open for 10 minutes, you both have to run through that, and you will be back here, if you do not come back through the portal, you are stuck there forever, you will never age though. Also when you come back you have the choice of having your memory erased or to keep it, but I will cast a spell on you so your mouth can't say anything about this trip to anyone but yourself and the other. Thank you and leave now, the portal has opened.
"You ready, Alisa?" Wayne asked.
