The Talking Ruler

Abby was doing her home work with Ally and Rosie. They were helping in a funny way. They were helping Abby by letting Abby use them. Rosie never had to be sharpened or else it would hurt her. When ever Rosie needed to be sharpened she would use magic to get herself a sharp tip and she never grew short when she magically sharpened herself. Ally helped by letting Abby write in her so she could figure out math problems. Ally could grow back pages if Abby needed to. And Ally was able to use her magic to erase the marks that Abby made and the pages wouldn't have any small marks that you couldn't see. The next day Abby brought Ally and Rosie to school but she told them to use magic and make sure their legs, arms, and face weren't visible. And they could sprout them out a t home. She had her teacher's ruler well it was really Abby's because at the beginning of the year they got a ruler. Abby used the ruler for geometry. Soon school was over at 2:10 school was over. Abby walked straight home then went to do her homework. All of a sudden Abby's ruler grew a face Abby Didn't expect it to grow a face so  she screamed. Then the ruler began to sing a soft melody and then Abby started to quite down. Then Abby's mom came rushing up stairs but her apron caught on fire the n the ruler sang a different beautiful   melody and a bucket of water floated upstairs without a single drip falling out of the bucket. A pretty stream of water let the little fire out. The ruler sucked up the water by singing another soft melody and cleaned the water so Abby's mom could drink it. The ruler had a sweet voice even when she wasn't singing. The ruler explained that her name was Miranda. Abby asked if she could just call her M. M agreed. Now Abby guessed M's power was Melody and music. That was right.
